            Signs and symptoms of vitamin and mineral deficiency issues in the body may start out slowly or they may suddenly develop when a certain level of the vitamin or mineral in the body has been reached.

            Calcium - Deficiency symptoms in children may include: Rickets, bone deformations, growth retardation.

            Deficiency symptoms in adults may include: Muscle spasms, tingling in the hands and feet, osteoporosis, softening of the bone, deterioration of teeth.

            Copper - Feeling of ill health, weakness, fatigue, difficulty in breathing, poor immunity, increased risk of infections, anemia, osteoporosis, blood vessel disorders, joint pain, elevated LDL blood cholesterol, decreased HDL cholesterol levels, thyroid issues, irregular heartbeat, loss of pigment in skin and hair.

            Fluoride - Tooth decay, weakening of enamel.

            Folate - Folic Acid - Weakness, fatigue, irritability, insomnia, respiratory duress.

            Vitamin B6 - Pyridoxine - Skin issues including dermatitis and eczema pernicious anemia, malaise, fatigue and in severe deficiencies - convulsions and seizures may occur.
